Salary and Statistics

Salaries are often determined by the level of skills one has which matches to a companies hiring description. Salaries are evaluated by the level of experience , the position taken and the kind of organization an engineer goes into. For example, oil sands, coal, metal or other minerals vary in salary due to the demand each material has and the companies importance. If an engineer moves to Alberta in Fort Mcmurray let's say , they will have a base salary and an added benefit because he/she is living further than most people would go. Although people in remote areas are paid more the average cost for living is expensive.
There are countried who believe to be paid alot for their profession but in reality are not. An example is India, India believes their salary to be high at 15,250 per year. Although, when it is compared to other parts of the world likeCanada, the United States, Australia and the United Kingdom, who make over 100K per year it is incredibly low. In the United states , there are over 6,150 employed engineers with an average salary of 103K.

It is one of Canadas first energy company and the 5th largest North American energy company. Lastly, it is known for the largest independent energy companies in the world.
